It’s not simply the what we do, but how we do it that aids us in going deeper within ourselves.
How is this work different than traditional personal training?
Clients utilize our work together to build a strong foundation both in physical, mental, emotional alignment and in developing the skills in how to listen to, and hear, their bodies. And when they do, they’re amazed at what they hear. Possibilities open up as they experience their voice within having the answers they seek… knowing where to go, what to do, and how to do it. Together, we practice patient and non-attached listening, supporting and honoring.
This work is about taking movement to the next level by deepening awareness. It’s not (only) what you do, but how you do it. So, we bring mindfulness, intentionality, and curiosity to each movement, breath, and thought-feeling in order to understand, or reprogram the how and why.
Traditional personal training is focused more around telling people what to do rather than supporting them to have and feel their own experience. I bring my knowledge, experience and expertise to inform what we practice and the way in which we do it. The main focuses of this work is:
Posture correction.
Deepening awareness of physical, mental and emotional
bodies, and their interconnectedness.Alignment- physical, mental, emotional.
Strength Training & Conditioning.
Pain reduction.
Reprogramming physical patterns.
